RAVENOL official partner of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship

FIA Formula 3 European Championship kicks off in 2014 with a new partner. After having sucessfully engaged in last year’s young-talent series as a "Presenter Livestream" and technical support of the Dutch team Van Amersfoort Racing, the manufacturer of premium lubricants will become official series partner for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship from 2014.

With this partnership the successful company from Werther in North Rhine Westfalia, Germany takes another step forward in its international orientation – including the realm of motorsport. “Motorsport is very important to us. In the 2013 season the FIA Formula 3 European Championship was, for the first time, carried out with huge success and a packed grid. For me the event definitely plays an important role in training future Formula 1 drivers. The fact that 11 events are being held in eight different European countries is another important aspect for us. We are an internationally oriented company. Customers and friends of the brand RAVENOL follow our activities in motorsports with great interest. I especially look forward to great collaboration and an exciting race season”, says Martiin Huning, motorsports director at RAVENOL.

“We are very proud that the excellent quality of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship has persuaded RAVENOL to engage as official series partner from now on. Strong partners such as RAVENOL, who are internationally successful and share our high standards are paramount to the success of Formula 3. We are passionate about our joint mission of promoting the best up-and-coming young pilots in the world and look forward to an exciting season” says Walter Mertes, managing director of Formel 3 Vermarktungs GmbH.

The RAVENOL brand logo will be seen on the front wings of the racing cars and team trucks as well as on the official homepage www.fiaf3europe.com.

With strong series partners such as RAVENOL the FIA Formula 3 European Championship once again underpins its aim to support the world’s most talented young drivers in developing their skills by providing a highly professional environment. The 2014 starting grid in Formula 1 is impressive proof that Formula 3 is the ideal stepping stone for young talents on their way into motorsport’s premier category: 18 of 22 current F1 drivers first demonstrated their skills in Formula 1 racing.
